The goal of this project was to make a SCAD FASH invitation card for guests to attend the exhibition Miss Sohee: Bloom. Miss Sohee, also known as Sohee Park, is a South Korean fashion designer based in London. I chose a dress from her Fall/Winter 2022 collection as inspiration for my designs. The card is handmade and uses die-cuts and foiling techniques that highlight the elements inspired by the dress.

Concept
For the invitation card, I wanted to focus on providing the guest with an exciting experience. I created a floral enclosure that is in the shape of the flower seen on the dress. The guest would pull the edges of the flower, which opens to reveal the card fitted inside of a sleeve featuring a die-cut design. When opened, the card will have designs seen on the dress that are foiled, and the image of the dress is the main focus at the center. The back of the card has a RSVP card inside the pocket where the guest can sign and mail back.
